Why We Started Angling Legacy

Our Grandfather spent the majority of his career working for the Utah Fish and Game. In 1992, he went into the hospital for a surgical procedure and passed away. With his passing, almost all of his knowledge of the Utah outdoors was lost. As us three brothers got older, we began to understand just how priceless our grandparents and their knowledge is. That is why we started Angling Legacy! We wanted to build a Legendary community that shares its passion of fishing and the outdoors with others so that future generations can enjoy the places and experiences we did.

Be Legendary - Angling Legacy was founded to bring together a community of legendary individuals who love the outdoors and want to share their passion with others. Our lives are priceless, let's not be forgotten!

Meet the Founders

For Jordan, growing up there was a lot of emphasis put into athletics and family. After high school, Jordan went to Southern Utah University where he was a member of the track and field team and graduated with a degree in Human Nutrition. He met his wife, Erika, while in college and now has 3 children. Jordan's love of fishing and the outdoors came after he graduated from college. Life is stressful and there is no better place to reset than outside by the water. He loves camping and fly fishing in the summer and chasing big browns and ice fishing when available the rest of the year.

Justin grew up in Riverton, UT. He moved to Duchesne in 2010. Justin and his wife have four children. Justin voluntarily coaches youth football, high school football, youth wrestling, and a youth travel baseball team. He partnered in building and running Eagle Fitness for 5 successful years, then sold in order to focus more time and attention on his family and coaching. Justin loves supporting the youth of this community and helping them reach their full potential. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He has always loved the small town atmosphere and feels blessed to be able to live and raise his family here.

Jaren grew up with most of his attention focused around family, sports, and school. After high school he moved to Utah County to go to school at Utah Valley University where he graduated with a Marketing Degree. During that time, Jaren met his wife Ariel. They love backpacking and being outdoors with their little puppy. Fishing has turned into his number one hobby over the last few years and just loves to be outdoors with his family and friends.
